A plan to bring more renewable energy into Massachusetts has hit a snag. The proposed Northern Pass transmission line project has been rejected by state regulators in New Hampshire.

The project called for construction of a 192 mile transmission line to bring hydro power from Canada through New Hampshire to Massachusetts.

WBUR's Bruce Gellerman joined Morning Edition to talk about the decision.

This segment aired on February 2, 2018.
