Curated Cuisine is a monthly series examining all things edible, from the chefs cooking the food to the writers reviewing the recipes. Meet the people shaping the food industry, both local and national and enjoy a post-show bite inspired by the conversation.

Radio Boston host Tiziana Dearing moderates a conversation with Conor Dennehy, chef and co-owner of Talulla and the only Massachusetts finalist for Best Chef: Northeast at this year’s James Beard Awards. Named after Dennehy’s daughter, Talulla is a small Cambridge restaurant with twelve tables that is a reflection of family memories. With his wife, sommelier Danielle Ayer, his mission is to share “stories about the farmers and winemakers we’ve met on our travels, and how their food and drink have inspired our own creations.”

Learn more about this husband and wife team and their food philosophy, plus sample bites from the restaurant before the Beard Awards are decided on June 10 in Chicago.

This event is co-produced by Boston University Metropolitan College Programs in Food & Wine.
