Cleveland Sports Success Continues As Indians Reach World Series
ResumeThe Cleveland Indians won the American League pennant last night, beating the Toronto Blue Jays 3-0 to take the series in five games.
The Indians now advance to the World Series, making their first championship appearance since 1997. The team hasn't won the series in more than 60 years. The city's baseball success follows the NBA title won by the Cavaliers earlier this year.
