How 'South Park' Is Tackling The 2016 Election

"South Park" is now in its 20th season, and throughout the show’s history, it has looked to current events to fuel its plot lines.

The 2016 presidential race is no exception.

Still, creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker don’t aim to create a political show, and they feel free to take aim at candidates on both sides of the aisle.

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson speaks with Colorado native Ryan Parker, a staff writer at the Hollywood Reporter, about how "South Park" is covering this election, and what allows them to push boundaries that other shows can’t.
