In hour two of Here & Now's Jan. 9, 2018 full broadcast, we look at a development in relations between North and South Korea, as North Korea has agreed to send athletes to the Olympics for the first time in eight years. Also, the Trump administration has announced it will end temporary protected status for Salvadorans. We look at how the end of the program will affect nearly 200,000 Salvadorans in the U.S., and, specifically, 6,000 in Massachusetts. And, shelters are struggling amid the cold weather and an increase in the population of people who are homeless for the first time since 2010. We learn more about how people around the country are working to help those in need.
