One is a bill proposed by Republican Rep. Bob Goodlatte of Virginia. We talk with him about it. Also we discuss lax oversight and the lack of clinical trials for medical devices in the United States — and how that may make them more likely to injure than cure. And, big wave surfers are getting ready for the Mavericks Challenge in Northern California. And for the first time, women have a chance to compete.
