James Ross has been senior technical director for On Point since the show's very early days, when it wasn't even called On Point.

Born in Scotland, he previously worked as an audio engineer for the BBC for over 25 years, broadcasting from palaces, pubs, prisons, castles, cathedrals and the deck of an assault carrier.

James has two wonderful daughters and four marvelous grandchildren.
