John Bender is a newscast producer for WBUR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered. He reports daily and breaking news that can be heard across the station's local news programs. When he's not on the newscast desk, he produces segments for WBUR's Radio Boston.

He previously worked at the Public's Radio in Rhode Island. During his time in Rhode Island, he worked as a morning producer, a reporter and morning host. He grew up in Rhode Island.
