People in dozens of households are homeless Sunday morning in East Cambridge after a 10-alarm fire ripped through the Wellington-Harrington neighborhood Saturday afternoon.

Firefighters from many communities battled the fire and crews are now investigating how it started.

Cambridge Mayor E. Denise Simmons joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss recovery efforts and the extent of the damage to the area.
