Gov. Patrick On $1B Bio Boost

BOSTON, Mass. - May 09, 2007 - On the last day of the BIO International Convention in Boston, Governor Deval Patrick will take part in a morning session on minority outreach. Its focus will be on efforts to broaden access to biotechnology, both for patients and for potential workers.

The Governor's appearance at BIO comes a day after he detailed his billion dollar proposal to boost the industry in Massachusetts. He joins WBUR's Bob Oakes to talk about the initiative.
