The debate Monday night between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump is expected to have over 100 million viewers: the most-watched in history.

But, what is going to happen at the debate is, of course, up for debate. What we can be sure of is that there's a lot at stake for both candidates who, according to polls, are locked in a close race.

To preview all the replays, we'll  take a look at how another presidential debate played out for viewers and in the media: the October 2000 presidential debate between Vice President Al Gore and Texas Gov. George W. Bush, which was hosted at UMass Boston.
