This summer, Boston’s historic Emerson Colonial Theatre will host the world premiere of “The Queen of Versailles,” a new, Broadway-bound musical based on Lauren Greenfield’s 2012 documentary of the same name about the quixotic quest of billionairess Jackie Siegel, wife of “The Timeshare King” David Siegel, to build the largest home in America, inspired by the Palace of Versailles.

Join us for a screening of the film, followed by a conversation with Greenfield and Lindsay Ferrentino, author of the book for the new musical. Radio Boston host Tiziana Dearing moderates. Get ready to ask all your questions about the original film and its subjects, plus get some scoop on the new show.

Performances for the musical, which reunites Oscar-winning songwriter Stephen Schwartz and Tony and Emmy-award winner Kristin Chenoweth as Jackie, begin Tuesday, July 16 through Sunday, August 25.
