Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Sunday that it is "insulting and unacceptable" that the Trump administration views Canadian steel and aluminum imports as a security threat. Last Friday, President Trump imposed tariffs on Canada and other U.S. allies. Trump will join other G-7 leaders at a summit in Quebec on Friday, where the trade dispute will be front and center.

CBC senior reporter Evan Dyer (@EvanDyerCBC) joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson to discuss how the trade dispute is playing out in Canada.

This segment aired on June 4, 2018.
