'Star Trek: Discovery' finale drops on Paramount+

The final episode of "Star Trek: Discovery" is now out on Paramount+. Though the show hasn’t garnered the praise the streaming platform's other "Star Trek" shows have, NPR TV critic Eric Deggans says it was an important step in the platform figuring out how to recreate the classic sci-fi series for a new generation of TV fans.
