The empire that hip-hop mogul Diddy, or Sean Combs, has built since the 1990s is crumbling. After lawsuits by former girlfriend Cassie Ventura and others alleging sexual harassment, assault, and abuse, a video surfaced showing Combs throwing down and kicking Ventura in a hotel hallway in 2016. Combs issued an apology on Instagram while also denying all the allegations against him.

Here & Now's Tiziana Dearing talks with the three hosts of the podcast "Vibe Check," Sam Sanders, Zach Stafford and Saeed Jones, about the allegations surrounding Combs and what they mean for his place in hip hop and society.

This segment aired on June 10, 2024.
