Baltimore Ravens' Mark Andrews talks about thriving while managing Type 1 diabetes

Baltimore Ravens' Mark Andrews is among the best tight ends in the NFL. When the 28-year-old charges toward the end zone with a ball in his hand, he appears to be in tip-top shape for one of the most physically demanding sports.

However, Andrews has had to overcome a major health obstacle on his way to the top. At age 9, he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
