With the Tony Awards just days away, all eyes are on Broadway. Among the shows to watch for will be the revival of Stephen Sondheim’s most notorious flop, “Merrily We Roll Along," rewritten, fine-tuned and garnering raves this season.

It’s up for seven Tonys, including one for each of the three actors who dominate the show: Jonathan Groff for best leading actor in a musical revival, Daniel Radcliffe and Lindsay Mendez for featured actor and actress in a featured role.

It’s also up for best musical revival. Host Robin Young took in a performance earlier this season.

This segment aired on June 14, 2024.
