Boston school officials announced Wednesday a plan to merge two sets of elementary school buildings in Dorchester, Roslindale, and Mattapan. We check-in with BPS officials and a panel of experts on why this matters for Boston, and how, if  approved, it could be just the start of a major overhaul of the district's landscape.
