How Boston-born Rich Benoit went from Harvard to hustling as a DIY car expert

If you loved the show "Car Talk", then you might love something called "Rich Rebuilds."

It's a YouTube channel started by Mattapan-born Rich Benoit, who chose his love of tinkering with technology and cars over a Harvard education.

Benoit made his name taking apart and repairing Teslas — something no one had done before — and now is a foremost expert in fixing up electric vehicles.

Radio Boston talked to Benoit about his life and his new book "Going Fast and Fixing Things."
