Report warns of 'looming fiscal fiasco' at the T

Last week, researchers with the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation published a report titled "The Looming Fiscal Fiasco for the MBTA" warning that while the beleaguered transit system has hired more workers and improved some safety and service issues, it's hurtling otwards a major budget gap. It's unclear how much money state lawmakers will put toward the T over the next few years.
